British department store Liberty London has launched Liberty 1875, a new addition to the LBTY fragrance collection.

Imagine a wood panelled room, infused with a century and a half of subtle laughter and rich tobacco smoke, dressed up for the evening with abundant Indian tuberose flowers, creating an irresistible tension. Whispers of nights spent in animated discussion resonate as heady tuberose, jasmine and ylang ylang settle in the comfort of vanilla, earthy spice and tobacco, for an unforgettable evening.
“I envisioned this wood-panelled smoking room, steeped in decades of laughter and rich tobacco smoke, then suddenly transformed for an evening with the intoxicating presence of Indian tuberose. That contrast fascinated me—the masculine weight of aged wood and tobacco meeting the feminine allure of heady florals.
